Ugly Incident Ends in 2-Game Suspension Tuesday, June 27th , 2023 Following an intense confrontation with the home plate umpire in which he was ejected, Bowsers left fielder Jake Willison was suspended 2 games by the league. Willison had to be physically restrained by his manager and appeared to make a few threats toward the umpire. He was upset by a called third strike in a game with Louisville at Miller Park. Willison could not be reached for comment on the suspension. Willison is currently batting .232 with 18 home runs and 38 RBIs. |
