Long Beach's Riggi Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, August 16th , 2021 It was a parade of hits for Drew Riggi of the Long Beach Keys at Wizards Stadium. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Riggi finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Keys to a win, 13-6. "Riggi was really good and we were really bad," groaned Comets manager Malcolm Griffin. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Drew Riggi hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Miguel Gomez in the 5th, hit an RBI double in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 8th and grounded out in the 9th.
