Long Beach Mathematically Eliminated from Playoffs Monday, August 16th , 2021 The Long Beach Keys have been largely irrelevant in the playoff chase for the 2021 season, but now the team is officially and mathematically eliminated from contention. This is the club's 8th playoff miss in a row. They last appeared in the postseason in 2013. In total, the Keys have missed the playoffs 12 times in their 22-year history.
