Huntsville's O'Brien to Miss Season
Tuesday, August 3rd , 2021
When Huntsville starting pitcher Aaron O'Brien was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Rockets-Desperados game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that O'Brien had sustained a torn ulnar collateral ligament and will be out for about 11-12 months.

So far this year, O'Brien has made 9 starts, tossed 58.2 innings, struck out 51 batters and walked 13. His record is 5-1 with a 2.91 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .205 batting average.
