Going, Going, Gone! Kreisle Hits 3 Homers Friday, July 30th , 2021 San Antonio second baseman Josh Kreisle blasted three homers at Ballpark of Austin in the 9-0 Stallions victory over the Huntsville Rockets. For the game, Josh Kreisle scored 3 times and knocked in 6 runs. When he hit his last home run, his teammates, hearing the crack of the bat, leaped off the bench and rushed on the field to greet the jubilant Kreisle when he reached home plate. "It was just one game, but it sure was a lot of fun -- 4-for-5, three roundtrippers and a win," a gleeful Kreisle told BNN reporters in a postgame interview. "What a day." Josh Kreisle hit an RBI double in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Dakota Penwell in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Dakota Penwell in the 5th, hit a two-run home run off Juan Cazares in the 6th and grounded out in the 9th. Thus far in 2021, Kreisle is hitting .317 with 15 home runs, 41 RBIs, 28 runs scored and has compiled a .404 OBP. |
