Player of the Week: Bangor's Ornelas Monday, June 12th , 2023 The votes have been tallied and the winner of the Southern A Player of the Week has been named. It was awarded earlier today to Cesar Ornelas for his great week at the plate. The Bangor center fielder took home the trophy by banging out 11 hits in 22 at-bats for a .500 batting average, driving in 13 runs and scoring 5 times. Currently Ornelas is batting .375 with 11 home runs, 36 RBIs and 26 runs scored. |
