Aviles Electric in 12-0 St. Catharines Win Saturday, July 24th , 2021 Miguel Aviles bent a little, but he didn't break against the Fremont Ambassadors. The St. Catharines Blue Jays pitcher hurled a 5-hit, 12-0 shutout in a fine performance, surrendering no walks and tallying 11 strikeouts. "Miguel is good at getting out of jams," Blue Jays manager Walt DeRosier told reporters after the game. "He's almost more effective when he gets guys on base or gets behind in the count, because he uses your aggressiveness against you." This season, Aviles has 10 wins and 4 losses and a 2.28 ERA.
