Danny Reel Injured, Out for Season Wednesday, July 7th , 2021 White Deer starting pitcher Danny Reel could miss the remainder of the season because of a torn labrum. He exited yesterday's Lake Elsinore game after injuring himself while throwing a pitch. The original diagnosis said Reel would be out 4 months. Later on his doctors said he could be out even longer. "He's done," his manager commented at the BNN press conference. "It's a season-ending injury, but it could have been worse. It's not the worst-case scenario, so we're happy about that." So far this season, Reel has a record of 1-2 with 50 strikeouts and 18 walks in 48.1 innings and a 4.66 ERA. |
