Sharpe Sizzles in No-Hitter Sunday, June 27th , 2021 It was a fantastic day for Weedpatch Widowmakers starter Jeremy Sharpe and a lousy day for the Dollywood Partons. The Weedpatch hurler's pitching artistry completely befuddled and bewildered the Partons, as the Widowmakers cruised to a 3-0 win. When it was all over, Sharpe was credited with one of the rarer feats in baseball -- a no-hitter. "The ball was moving and darting, and best of all, going where I wanted it to go," Sharpe said later. He rang up 15 strikeouts and allowed 4 walks while shutting Dollywood down at Widowmakers Ballpark. In 15 starts this season, Sharpe has registered a 6-3 record and a 2.07 ERA.
