Fites 5-for-6 for Bowsers Monday, April 28th , 2025 Steve Fites really sizzled at the plate in his team's 10-3 win over the Barrie Admirals. The Columbus left fielder blistered Barrie for 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Fites was too tough to get out today," the Admirals skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too." Steve Fites doubled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, struck out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Chad Baillargeon in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
