Kreisle Belts 3 HRs Saturday, June 5th , 2021 Today was a special one for Josh Kreisle of the San Antonio Stallions as he slammed three home runs in the 8-5 Stallions win over the St. Catharines Blue Jays. "Lately, I've been uppercutting the ball too much," he said to sportswriters after the game. "I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark. No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The San Antonio second baseman collected 3 hits in 5 at-bats, drove in 6, and scored 3 runs in the contest at Alamo Field. Josh Kreisle struck out in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Travis Anderson in the 3rd, flied out in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off B.B. Berube in the 7th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Mario Hernandez in the 8th. At the moment, Kreisle is hitting .284 with 5 home runs and 15 RBIs. He has played in 33 games and scored 15 times. |
