Northern A Picks Top Player Monday, May 1st , 2023 Hugo Merino captured all the headlines last week and today he added to his booty with the Northern A Player of the Week trophy. The St. Catharines Blue Jays left fielder hammered league hurlers for 11 hits in 29 at-bats, a .379 average and 5 home runs. He also collected 14 RBIs and 9 runs scored. At the moment, Merino is batting .345 with 11 home runs and 24 RBIs. He has played in 23 games and scored 20 times. |
