Cesar Mena Strokes 3 Home Runs

Anyone wearing a glove and sitting in the bleachers for today's Lumberjacks-Bowsers game had a good chance at snagging a home run ball.
Bangor second baseman Cesar Mena thrice sent eager fans scurrying to catch a souvenir, helping lead the Bangor to a win, 4-2, over Columbus.
"Hey, the three homers were great, but I'm just trying to help my ballclub," Mena said later. "I'm not going out there thinking I need another home run."
Mena, who is tied for 2nd in the S-A in bases on balls with 17, was 3-for-4 on the day with 4 runs batted in.
Cesar Mena hit a two-run home run off Eric Hayes in the 2nd, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jose Rodriguez in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Joey Byler in the 8th.
In 20 games this season, Mena is batting .172 with 11 hits and 5 home runs. He has scored 12 runs and driven in 14.
