Latham Given 4-Game Suspension Monday, May 13th , 2019 The league commissioner has zero tolerance when it comes to touching an umpire. That's the reason Ty Latham of the Jet Hawks has been given a 4-game suspension. He apparently made too much contact with the home plate umpire while intensely questioning a called strike in a recent game at Alamo Field with the San Antonio Stallions. Latham said he would not appeal and would serve his suspension beginning today. Thus far this year Latham has hit .289 with no home runs and 9 RBIs. |
