Gaines Thwarts Fresno, 5-0 Tuesday, May 24th , 2022 In a remarkable performance, Boise Dread Kings starter Jordan Gaines beat the Fresno Running Rebels, 5-0, in an impressive 3-hit shutout. "My arm felt good, mechanics were good and my stuff was working," he said later. "It doesn't get any better than this." The Dread Kings hurler finished with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk. He showed pinpoint control and a sharp fastball. "It was a rough one for my guys," Fresno manager Jayden Edwards said, following the game. "We weren't at our best and their guy was."
