Lovett Blanks Traverse City, 5-0 Sunday, August 11th , 2024 Riverside Rotters starter Chase Lovett really did a number on the Traverse City Bears, shutting them out, 5-0, on 3 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 1 walk and had 5 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Traverse City manager Zach Hildebrant. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Lovett."
