Castano has 4 RBI to Fuel Yard Dogs Offense
A 4-RBI performance from right fielder Humberto Castano, who is tied for 5th in the E-AA with a .940 OPS, led the Mobile Yard Dogs to a win over the Alcoa Millionaires, 8-5. Barto Puente earned the win after being summoned from the bullpen. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 5-0. Hunter Saakadze finished the game for Mobile and earned his 25th save.

With Mobile leading 6-5 in the top of the ninth, Castano came up to bat against Alcoa pitcher Bill Rutland. Castano hit a fastball to left-center for a 2-run home run. His 26th home run of the season put the Yard Dogs on top, 8-5.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Castano told the Mobile Daily News. "It's as simple as that."

With the win, Mobile goes to 75-43, while the Millionaires fall to 42-76.
