Week's Best Player Honored by E-AA Monday, August 24th , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Geoff Thompson had few peers in the Eastern AA this past week. The talented center fielder for Washington tagged opposing pitchers for a .481 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 13 hits in 27 at-bats, 1 homers, 6 runs scored and 5 RBIs. Thus far this season, Thompson has hit .291 with 8 home runs, 30 RBIs and scored 50 times. |
