Capitols Advance to League Championship Series Saturday, September 19th , 2020 The Augusta Capitols have booked their place in the League Championship Series. By a score of 4-3, the club ousted the Cincinnati Bombardiers in the Division Series tonight at The Capitol Dome. Augusta won the series by a 4-2 margin. The series MVP was Capitols reliever Jeff Weingart. For his part, the MVP said he is not putting too much stock in the individual honor and instead simply "looking forward to the next round." The Augusta Capitols don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Vail Tigercats - Sonoma Scorpions series. Sonoma leads the series 3 games to 2.
