Behind Alvarado, London Blanks Augusta, 5-0 Monday, July 21st , 2025 London Tigers starter Ricardo Alvarado really did a number on the Augusta Capitols, shutting them out, 5-0, on 8 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 2 walks and had 8 strikeouts. "We didn't have good at-bats," said Augusta manager Joel Braddock. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Alvarado."
