The home crowd had a good time watching the Cincinnati Bombardiers and Sonoma Scorpions get after it.

Sonoma registered a win at Ballpark of North Richland Hills by beating the Cincinnati Bombardiers, 8-1. Pitcher Ricky Fernandez was one reason why the Scorpions triumphed. The win makes Sonoma 55-38.

In the bottom of the seventh, Sonoma first baseman Cameron Williams had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Williams stroked a 2-run single to right-center. It made the score 4-1, Sonoma. For the game, he went 1-3 with a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2.

"Ricky's as tough as he is talented," said Sonoma manager Justin Watts.
