Bendon Tosses Shutout Against Libertyville Wednesday, July 9th , 2025 Corpus Christi Mermen right-hander Chad Bendon used his full arsenal to shoot down the Libertyville Polecats, 3-0. All day long, he exhibited fine command of all his pitches, giving up 1 walk and striking out 5. Bendon allowed 3 hits in the victory. "It felt like my catcher and I were on the same page all day, and Libertyville was on a way, way different page," Bendon said.
