Rotters Deal Razor Sharks Painful Loss
Riverside third baseman Mike DeWitt picked up 3 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Mesa Razor Sharks, 5-4, in 11 innings. Abel Viar, who leads the E-AA in saves with 13, earned the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. He upped his record to 5-1. Riverside is looking good at 60-22.

The decisive blow was delivered by Bobby Phillips in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off 23-year old right-handed pitcher Adam Hinton to win the game for Riverside. The home crowd went nuts.

"I had some good swings out there," said DeWitt.
