Big 3-HR Day for Jackson Sunday, August 22nd , 2021 Fans are still buzzing after Boise whipped the Fresno Running Rebels by the score of 16-10 at Running Rebels Ballpark. Greg Jackson smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the right fielder bashed out 3 hits in 6 at-bats, had 4 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Jackson said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Jackson said. "Three is just... wow." Greg Jackson hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 2nd, grounded out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Jim Unknown in the 5th, flied out in the 6th and grounded out in the 8th. This season, Jackson is batting .219 with 13 home runs. He has scored 48 runs and driven in 32. |
