Joilet Second Baseman Out Sunday, May 10th , 2026 A blow for David Cabrera today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 4 months with a broken kneecap. Cabrera suffered the injury colliding with a player at a base. Although officials from the Joilet Jesters are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Cabrera's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. Cabrera is hitting .241 this year with 3 home runs, 11 RBIs and 6 runs scored. He has 13 hits in 54 at-bats, 5 walks and a .311 on-base percentage. Cabrera has played in 18 games. |
