SC's Top Hitter Named Wednesday, June 1st , 2022 Juan Ortega may be much younger than other hitters in the Stars Conference, but he performed like a seasoned veteran in May to win the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old Quebec first baseman hit .301 with 10 home runs, 25 RBIs and 20 runs scored. This year, Ortega has batted at a .304 pace with 55 hits, 15 home runs, 35 RBIs and scored 29 times. |
