Stampede Brandon Jones Down and Out for Year Sunday, May 15th , 2022 The news is bad in Lubbock. The Stampede have lost the services of starting pitcher Brandon Jones for the rest of the season due to a ruptured ulnar collateral ligament. Jones was injured in a recent game with the Glendale Muskies while throwing a pitch and is expected to miss 13 months. Jones has gone 3-1 this season with an ERA of 4.14 and 41 strikeouts in 45.2 innings pitched. Other clubs are hitting .244 against him. |
