Ridin' High: Murayama Hits for Cycle Monday, April 20th , 2026 Takenori Murayama punished the Hartford Matadors, leading the Royals to a win, 16-7. In doing so, Murayama hit for the cycle, tagging the Matadors for 4 hits in 5 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season.
