Arnaud Bashes 3 HR for Little Rock Friday, April 26th , 2019 Alain Arnaud went on an explosive hitting spree against the Erie Vipers at Saxons Ballpark today, launching a trio of blasts to lead the Little Rock Governors to the 8-6 win. The left fielder finished 4-for-6 with 3 runs scored and 5 runs batted in. "It was just one of those days," Arnaud said in a postgame interview. "I don't know how to explain it. I'm just putting a good swing on the ball." Erie skipper Brett Parkin said Arnaud was "locked-in." "We made some pretty good pitches," he said. "Those first two homers were exactly where the pitcher wanted to put them. He's just hot right now -- you've just got to tip your hat to him." Alain Arnaud struck out in the 1st, struck out in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Luis Najera in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Kevin Morris in the 9th and hit a two-run home run off Kevin Morris in the 11th. To date Arnaud has chalked up a .311 average with 6 home runs, driven in 8 runs and scored 12 times. |
