Maness Tops Stars Conference Pitchers Sunday, October 27th , 2024 Portland's Stuart Maness took home the 2024 Stars Conference Pitcher of the Year Award earlier today after a remarkable season on the mound. With a record of 14-4, Maness was certainly a worthy winner. He made 27 starts and posted 176.2 innings, 133 strikeouts and a 2.65 ERA. He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 24. Jaheim Jennings of the Portland Mad Ants finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Nate McClaskey of the Joilet Jesters finished third with 1 first place vote.
