Crider Wins Award for StC Dominance

The Stripes Conference Reliever of the Year Award for 2024 has been bestowed on New Rochelle Purple Wave relief specialist Sam Crider.

The 27-year-old bullpen ace, out of Sterling, Alaska, nailed down the award with 8 saves in 40 relief appearances, 44 strikeouts in 39 innings and a record of 3 wins and 1 loss to go with his 1.62 ERA.

He received 19 first place votes out of a possible 24. Josh Harkey of the Quebec Fighting Quakers finished second in voting with 5 first place votes, while Jonathan Harvey of the Quebec Aces finished third.
