Peters Grabs SC Reliever of the Year Award Thursday, October 24th , 2024 At the young age of only 22, Tim Peters has been named the Stars Conference Reliever of the Year Award winner for 2024. The future appears bright for the Fremont Marshalls relief ace, who captured the award with 2 saves in 41 relief appearances, 58 strikeouts in 62.1 innings and a record of 3-0 to go with his 1.30 ERA. He received 21 first place votes out of a possible 24. Jeremiah Porter of the Fremont Marshalls finished second in voting, while Ethan Yarbrough of the Laredo Ghosts finished third with 3 first place votes.
