Joilet Wins League Championship Series Monday, September 30th , 2024 The World Series hopes remain strong for the Joilet Jesters. The team tonight eliminated the Fremont Marshalls with a 3-0 win, to capture the League Championship Series 4-1. "We're rolling now," said Jordan Torres, who was named series MVP. "The pitchers are pitching, hitters are hitting, look out. I expect us to pick our game up to another level in the World Series." The standout offensive performance from Torres included a .368 batting average, .429 on-base percentage, 0 home runs, 5 RBI and 2 runs scored. The Joilet Jesters don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Westwood Bruins - Orono Oaks series. Orono leads the series 3 games to 1.
