Ken Gavin Named StC's Best Player Tuesday, November 3rd , 2026 When it came to hitting the baseball, Ken Gavin had few peers in the Stripes Conference this year. The gifted center fielder for Orono tagged opposing pitchers for a .288 average and was voted the Most Valuable Player Award for 2026. Included in his season stats were 128 hits, 27 doubles, 8 triples, 24 home runs, 53 runs scored and 81 RBIs. He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 24.
