Garst Gets Award for Relief Work Friday, October 30th , 2026 At the age of 23, Mike Garst says he still has a lot to learn about life in ABA Development League. But he certainly seems to be a quick study, as the Walnut Park Bobcats reliever was better than all others this year and has captured the 2026 Stripes Conference Reliever of the Year Award. He fanned 118 betters, while walking 27 and put up a record of 9-8 to go with his 2.59 ERA. He received 18 first place votes out of a possible 24. Kevin McDonald of the Quebec Aces finished second in voting with 6 first place votes, while Josh Reed of the Hickory Crawdads finished third.
