Baxter Springs Snaps Peck Streak at 21
Friday, September 13th , 2024
It was a doubly miserable day for Lee Peck of the Nashville Lasers, as he saw his 21-game hitting streak end and his team lose, 4-1, to the Baxter Springs Marshals at Marshals Ballpark. The 21-year-old left fielder was held hitless in 4 at-bats by the Marshals.
"Anyone on a 21-game hitting streak is going to be a tough out," Baxter Springs manager said later. "But we had a plan and we were careful about it, and got it done."
Thus far this year, Peck is hitting .267 with 4 home runs, 24 RBIs and 25 runs scored.
