Postseason Bid Ends for Nashville Friday, September 6th , 2024 The playoff hopes of the Nashville Lasers have been extinguished for the year. Today, the team was mathematically eliminated from qualifying for the 2024 postseason. "It's weird, yesterday we were all talking about what we needed to do to make it to the World Series and now we're just counting down the days until the offseason, said Lasers left fielder Jake Willison. Before this season, the Lasers last missed the playoffs in 2021. In the 25 years they have been a ABA Development League franchise, they have missed the playoffs 12 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Lasers have made the playoffs 7 times. Nashville last won the World Series in 2022. |
