Division Series Goes the Distance, Baxter Springs Prevails Wednesday, September 30th , 2026 Mark one up for the Baxter Springs Marshals. In the crucial final game, they put away the Montreal Royals 4-2 at Turtles Ballpark to win the Division Series, 4-3 and advance to the League Championship Series. Although his team came up short, Montreal's Brian Hendrix was named the series MVP, with many of the league media feeling the series would have been over much sooner if not for his contributions. "Hendrix did a lot to keep Montreal in it, no doubt about that," said Marshals manager Justin Watts. The Baxter Springs Marshals will play against the Hartford Matadors in the next round.
