Baxter Springs Headed to the Postseason Monday, September 21st , 2026 The Baxter Springs Marshals may not go on to win a World Series, but the team celebrated like they had won a championship tonight after securing a wild card spot. "We were definitely feeling the pressure. To go so late into the season and not know whether you're going to make the playoffs or not, it's intense. That's why you're seeing such an excited reaction," said second baseman Jon Olejniczak. "All our guys I think are just relieved that we made it after all that." It did indeed take a tough battle and with their record at 82-63, the Marshals will now look to bring the 1st World Series championship to Baxter Springs. |
