No Late-Season Magic Coming: El Paso Out of Playoffs Friday, September 12th , 2025 It's a "gut-wrenching feeling," El Paso Chupacabras closer Marcos Guadarrama said, for the team to have gotten so close to a playoff berth, only to be eliminated in the waning days of the season. The club was officially eliminated from the postseason chase today. Before this season, the Chupacabras had made the playoffs 2 times in a row. In the 21 years they have been a ABA Development League franchise, they have made the playoffs 7 times. In the last 10 seasons, the Chupacabras have made the playoffs 4 times. |
