Spokane's Ness Out 2-3 Months Thursday, September 4th , 2025 The doctors have spoken and Edward Ness of the Spokane Selects didn't like what he heard. The 21-year-old closer is almost certainly gone for the rest of the year and depending on his progress could miss some of next season as well. Ness sustained his season-ending injury during the Ann Arbor Z's game yesterday at Knights Ballpark. He had to leave the game because he hurt himself while throwing a pitch. Today the Spokane medical staff reported Ness had a torn triceps and would be absent from the lineup for at least 2-3 months. This season, Ness has 1 save in 5 relief appearances with a 1-0 mark and 2.08 ERA. |
