Tailgators Maughan Named SC's #1 Player Monday, August 25th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Trey Maughan's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Chesapeake Tailgators. For his exploits, Maughan was named this week's Stars Conference Player of the Week award. The Chesapeake right fielder put up 7 hits in 17 at-bats and 4 home runs while hitting .412 with 7 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Maughan is currently batting .288 with 18 home runs, 48 RBIs and 55 runs scored. He has 109 hits in 378 at-bats. |
