Star of the Week Honored in StC Monday, August 4th , 2025 Not every ball that came off Jacob Jacob's bat last week was a line drive or a towering shot -- it just seemed that way to the teams that played the Spokane Selects. For his exploits, Jacob was named this week's Stripes Conference Player of the Week award. The Spokane center fielder put up 13 hits in 24 at-bats and 1 home run while hitting .542 with 3 RBIs and 5 runs scored. Currently Jacob has 7 home runs and a .250 batting average. |
