SC's Star Player Named Monday, August 28th , 2023 One of the league's most exciting young players, Joe Ortiz of the Lubbock Stampede earned himself Stars Conference Player of the Week honors with a standout performance in last week's games. For the week the 25-year-old right fielder had a lofty .350 average (7-for-20), collecting 3 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the year, Ortiz has hit .248 with 27 home runs, 60 RBIs and scored 45 runs. |
