Hits Galore: Jacob Drills 5 Hits Thursday, July 31st , 2025 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Spokane's 8-4 win over Ann Arbor, center fielder Jacob Jacob was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Selects Ballpark. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Jacob said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Jacob Jacob walked in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 10th.
