Gonzalez Picked Best Player Monday, August 12th , 2024 When it came to hitting the baseball, Juan Gonzalez was in a class by himself in the Stripes Conference this past week. Nobody did it better. The outstanding center fielder for Westwood tagged opposing pitchers for a .400 average and was voted the Player of the Week Award. Included in his stats were 10 hits in 25 at-bats, 3 homers, 4 runs scored and 6 RBIs. This season, Gonzalez has hit at a .309 clip and produced 29 RBI, 6 home runs and 42 runs. |
