Bang-up Game: Haessly Slams 3 Homers Tuesday, August 18th , 2026 It was a good day for the New Rochelle Purple Wave and an exceptional one for Danny Haessly. The 23-year-old left fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Purple Wave beat the Palm Springs Heat, 15-3, at Ballpark of Lexington. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Haessly said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 6 runs and smacked 5 hits in 5 at-bats. Danny Haessly hit a solo-shot off Carlos Carachure in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Carlos Carachure in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Brent Gudim in the 8th.
