Bang-up Game: Gilmore Slams 3 Homers

Fans are still buzzing after Walnut Park whipped the Quebec Aces by the score of 18-0 at Belmont Park.
Bob Gilmore smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the first baseman bashed out 4 hits in 6 at-bats, had 10 RBIs and scored 4 times.
At the postgame press conference, Gilmore said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Gilmore said. "Three is just... wow."
Bob Gilmore hit a three-run home run off Nate Briceno in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Nate Briceno in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, flied out in the 8th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Ken Springer in the 9th.
This season, Gilmore is hitting at a .226 pace with 16 home runs, 56 RBIs and has scored 55 times.
