Cabriales Rewarded with 2022 StC Most Valuable Player Award

Ruben Cabriales took ABA Development League by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 22.
For his spectacular campaign, the Walnut Park Bobcats star has been named the 2022 Stripes Conference Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the first baseman.
On the season he compiled a .281 batting average to go with a .392 on-base percentage. The native of Gainesville, Florida also added 27 doubles, 2 triples, 28 home runs, 67 RBIs and 75 runs scored.
He received 24 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Mark Root of the Hickory Crawdads finished second in voting, while Lee Muza of the Spokane Selects finished third.
