Blaylock hit for a .261 average while collecting 130 hits, 28 doubles, 3 triples, 22 home runs, 63 RBIs and scoring 79 times.
He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 24. Steve Howard of the Quebec Aces finished second in voting with 9 first place votes, while Juan Ortega of the Quebec Aces finished third.
